Reconciliation Action Planning
FPG teams guide organizations in the creation of Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) designed to drive meaningful, sustainable change. Our RAP process involves a comprehensive, seven-step approach:
- Identify key voices within the organization.
- Assess the current state of the organization’s relationships and readiness for reconciliation.
- Listen and learn through focus groups or other consultation methods.
- Review the data to understand the insights gained.
- Develop a plan with clear goals and intended results.
- Support implementation, providing ongoing guidance and expertise.
- Evaluate and adapt, ensuring continuous progress.
In addition to developing RAPs, we work with our clients to ensure a reconciliation lens is applied throughout the process. FPG is also exploring the development of a reconciliation assessment tool, designed to measure the impact of RAPs and the degree of change within an organization after implementation. This tool can be co-created with clients, ensuring it meets their unique needs while promoting accountability.
